FREE FISHING & BOAT RAMP IN NANJEMOY

Friendship Farm Park in Nanjemoy, MD, is a 382-acre scenic park that offers free fishing, as designated by the Department of Natural Resources. Anglers are not required to possess a fishing license to fish from the pier and shoreline. The park is open year-round, from dawn to dusk, and provides a public boat ramp with parking for approximately 16 trailers, allowing easy access to the Potomac River. Fishing is one of the various recreational activities available at the park, along with hiking and playing baseball. (visit 'charles county parks & rec')

Hunting in Indian Head & Charles County, Maryland offers a variety of opportunities on public lands managed by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. These include Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs), State Parks, State Forests, Cooperative Wildlife Management Areas (CWMAs), Natural Environment Areas (NEAs), and Natural Resources Management Areas (NRMAs).
